It is partly cloudy in Sydney today but with zero chance of rain the Good (3) track is set to remain across the afternoon, perfect conditions for the Randwick line-up.
The Sydney race meet kicks off at 12:30pm (AEDT) and the bumper nine-race program finishes up at 5:30pm (AEDT) giving punters five wonderful hours of racing and betting at Ladbrokes.com.au.
The card is headlined by Race 7 at 4:10pm (AEDT) with the three-year-old staying types facing off in the 2017 Spring Champion Stakes field and the Gloaming Stakes winner Ace High ($3.20) is the one to beat.
A smart field of three-year-olds more suited to the sprints are also engaged in the race prior with just seven remaining in the Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes 2017 after the early scratching of Snitzkraft (3).
The meeting’s other Group status race is the penultimate event, the Group 3 Angst Stakes (1600m) for the mares down to 12 hopefuls with Lovani and Miss Dubois both withdrawn from the line-up.
