Mr Brightside will face just seven rivals as the odds-on favourite and class horse in a Might And Power 2024 field lacking depth at Caulfield this Guineas Day.

This year’s Group 1 $1 million Might And Power (2000m) is the first of three elite levels on the Caulfield card this weekend and Mr Brightside is all the rage at $1.70 for the win through Ladbrokes.com.au.
The Team Hayes-trained weight-for-age star gets things his way from the inside alley with Craig Williams aboard, and the seven-year-old presents rock hard fit fourth-up and ready to add another Group 1 to his glowing CV.
Two back the son of Bullbars was outstanding at Flemington running down Pride Of Jenni for a final stride salute in the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) in the wet.
At his latest he was 1.5 lengths off that mare in the Feehan Stakes at The Valley but without Pride Of Jenni here he is easily the one to beat.
Second favourite in Might And Power betting is the Chris Waller-trained Atishu at $4 to hand the stable a second win following the 2016 success of the mighty Winx.
Atishu is drawn the outside alley for star hoop James McDonald with the duo jumping from gate eight.
The seven-year-old daughter of Savabeel is a dual Group 1 winning mare who was strong again in the autumn and ready to hit her stride now.
She is on the quick back-up off a sixth at Flemington in last Saturday’s Turnbull Stakes at this distance and the short turnaround will suit.
Ciaron Maher saddles-up Jennilala at 20/1 in the Might And Power field with the five-year-old mare up in grade off a Stocks Stakes seventh at The Valley last start.
The last of the single figure hopes at current Might And Power odds of $7.50 is early market mover
Deny Knowledge for Anthony & Sam Freedman.
Mark Zahra rides the well backed Pride Of Dubai seven-year-old this weekend with the mare drawn gate six second-up.
The recent Grafton Cup winner last raced three weeks ago here in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes over 1800m and was five lengths off Buckaroo with improvement to come fitter now over further.
The intriguing runner and potential value at $12 is Coco Sun, a four-year-old daughter of The Autumn Sun trained by Tony & Calvin McEvoy.
She has had four Caulfield assignments without a top three finish but was huge in Adelaide last time in when third in the Australasian Oaks before beating home the boys including Warmonger in the Group 1 SA Derby (2500m).
Coco Sun has had two runs since with the latest a sixth in the Underwood but cannot be discounted here getting back up to a more suitable trip from barrier two with Blake Shinn riding.
Danny O’Brien‘s now nine-year-old former Melbourne Cup champion Vow And Declare ($21) sure to be strong the closing stages, Tancred Stakes winner Kalapour ($27) for Kris Lees, and his stablemate Adelaide River ($20) complete the line-up.
The 2024 Might And Power Stakes runs as Caulfield Race 7 at 3:50pm (AEDT).
