The weather trackside is fine and sunny and with only a chance of rainfall later in the afternoon, the current Good (4) Rosehill track rating looks set to stay across the card making for a nice change from the recent Heavy tracks in Sydney.

Rosehill racing gets underway at 12:05pm (AEST) and the nine-race card continues through until the $125,000 Ravnet Handicap (1200m) at 5:10pm (AEST).

Punters are treated to a triple-shot of Group racing action today starting with the meeting’s marquee race – the Group 3 $160,000 San Domenico Stakes (1100m) running as Race 5 at 2:30pm (AEST).

The 2020 San Domenico Stakes field may feature just the six three-year-olds, but it is a top-class edition of the spring kick-off with The Rosebud winner Anders ($3.20 @ Ladbrokes.com.au) in a battle for top spot with the undefeated Peltzer at the same quote.

Race 7 is the Group 3 $160,000 Ming Dynasty (1400m) for the three-year-old mile types with betting led by the Chris Waller-trained Overlord ($2.70 @ Ladbrokes.com.au) drawn the rails.

The penultimate event on the program is the Group 3 $160,000 Premiers Cup (1900m) featuring a quality field of stayers and Waller will saddle-up four despite the scratching of #13 The Lord Mayor (12) from the stable.
