Ipswich racing kicks off at 11:38am this morning and the nine-race Ipswich Cup Day card continues through until the fillies and mares do battle in at 4:32pm in the 2019 Gai Waterhouse Classic.
The Gai Waterhouse Classic is one of three Listed features on the card along with the Eye Liner Stakes 2019 (Race 8) where a full field of 16 face off including the emergency Astoria out wide for the scratched Oink and the aforementioned Ipswich Cup.
The Ipswich Cup field runs under capacity this season with 11 hopefuls led in betting at Ladbrokes.com.au by Kevin Kemp’s last start Toowoomba winner Fighting Teo ($3.50).
