A bargain buy from the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sales, Killer Queen remains a chance to head to Queensland next month for a shot at the 2018 Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

The Anthony Freedman-trained Not A Single Doubt filly is not currently nominated for the Restricted Listed $2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) on January 13.
Freedman however said a late entry could be paid for the unraced youngster who was a steal for connections at $100,000.
Killer Queen has had one official trial when fifth to Cavalini at Cranbourne in the wet over 800m on September 18.
She and stablemate Solar Star were both put through their paces at Werribee in Monday morning jumpouts, Killer Queen quick out and winning her heat in a slick 47.96 seconds.
Freedman said that should the promising filly debut soon and come out with an impressive win, the Magic Millions Classic was still being considered.
“She’s a bit late on the scene as far the Magic Millions goes, but I’ll talk to the owners. We may get her up there and give her a run up there and just see,” he told Racing Victoria.
“If she won well, she’s there and if she could get a run we’d look at running her.”
As for Freedman’s also unraced filly Solar Star, a trip across the Tasman looks likely for the well-bred daughter of Zoustar.
Following her solid jump-out win over 800m in 49.1 seconds, Solar Star is set to head to New Zealand on January 27 targeting the NZ$1 million Karaka Million (1200m) at Ellerslie Racecourse.
“She’s in with a view to going over there for the race if she’s good enough, so we’ll get her to races in the next week or so and see if she is up to that level,” Freedman said.
Solar Star was purchased at the 2017 Karaka Premier Sale for NZ$190,000.
Current all-in Magic Millions 2YO Classic betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au have Bondi and Jonker as the equal $9 favourites.
Peter & Paul Snowden prepare Bondi, who is yet to be confirmed as a definite start, while the David Atkins-trained Spirit Of Boom colt Jonker shot to the top of betting with his impressive debut win at Newcastle over 900m on December 3.
One of the roughie hopes in the futures markets, the Chris Munce-trained Pony Power ($51) meanwhile could be out to shorten her odds with a Doomben run in Saturday’s $100,000 Listed Calaway Gal Stakes (1100m).
Former champion Queensland hoop Munce won three editions of the Magic Millions 2YO Classic aboard Sunblazer (1989), Dance Hero (2004) and Excellerator (2001).
He chases a maiden win as a trainer with $100,000 purchase Pony Power this summer, the filly a well-bred daughter of Group 1 winning sire Foxwedge.
She debuted at the Gold Coast on October 7 with a first-up win over 900m and will trial on Tuesday morning before her Saturday Doomben race assignment is confirmed.
“She will have a run before the Millions. But I want to see how she pulls up after a trial at Doomben on Tuesday before I commit her to a Calaway Gal start,” Munce told AAP.
“She picked up $40,000 for her Gold Coast win which is usually enough to get into the Classic, but some more prize money would make a certainty of it.
“Pony Power isn’t big but she is tough and she has done everything right to date. She appears to me as a Millions horse.”
