It is sunny skies in Brisbane today and no chance of any real rainfall, but the controversial Eagle Farm track is still rated a Heavy (8) after failing to recover from earlier wet weather in the sunshine state.

Headlining the action is Eagle Farm Race 7 at 3:55pm (AEST) when the old BTC Cup runs as the 2017 Kingsford Smith Cup (1300m) and Egyptian Symbol (3) remains the sole scratching from the weight-for-age field.
Other highlights on the program include the 2017 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes (Race 3) for the two-year-old JJ Atkins hopefuls and the 2017 Grand Prix Stakes (Race 5) which is the key Queensland Derby lead-up for the staying three-year-olds.
