Set to run as the Gold Coast Race 4 at 1:40pm (AEST) on Saturday afternoon, this season’s $125,000 Listed Gold Coast Bracelet (1800m) for three-year-old fillies has attracted a capacity field.

The set weights clash is an ideal lead-up for staying types heading towards the $500,000 Group 1 Queensland Oaks (2400m) at Eagle Farm on June 3, a race Waller won two years ago with his now stable ace Winx.

Fastnet Rock filly Dawn Wall could be 2017 Queensland Oaks-bound for Waller this year and kicks off her winter bid in the Gold Coast Bracelet.

She sits top of the latest markets at Ladbrokes.com.au paying $3.50 with Hugh Bowman to ride from her double-digit draw.

Dawn Wall won the Group 3 Kembla Grange Classic (1600m) two back making it three straight wins before her credible mid-field sixth to Montoya’s Secret at Rosehill in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) on March 25.

She has trialled twice since in Sydney to bring her on for the Gold Coast Bracelet where she has a tongue-tie going on over a distance she has previous winning form over.

The early Gold Coast Bracelet betting market mover and $4.80 second elect is the in-form Candika who has the second outside alley to overcome.

Damian Browne rides the Steven O’Dea-trained daughter of Sebring who has won three of her past four starts including the Listed Princess Stakes (1600m) at Doomben on April 22.

She continues on the traditional Queensland Oaks path in the Bracelet on Saturday and should see out the 1800m without a worry after blitzing her closest rival last time out by over three lengths.

Third favourite at Gold Coast Bracelet odds of $5.50 is Invincibella drawn better in barrier three with Larry Cassidy riding the other Waller-trained fancy.

She is down in grade but up in distance after a second to Raiment in the Group 3 James Carr Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on April 15.

Also at single-figures are the consistent Peter & Paul Snowden-trained So You Think filly The Pinnacle ($8.50) coming off a third over the Randwick mile and Savvan ($9.50).

James Cummings prepares progressive Savabeel filly Savvan who looks like she’ll eat-up the extra distance here third-up having finished third to Eleonora at Caulfield in the Group 3 Ethereal Stakes (2000m) during the spring.

Other notable fillies in the mix include the local Toby Edmonds-trained Fallacy ($11) coming off a third in the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m) at Randwick and Kelly Doughty’s fellow Gold Coast-trained Benfica Princess ($21) who ran third to Candika in Brisbane last time out.
