The full sixteen runners will line-up in Saturday’s Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic 2017 field after final acceptances reached capacity on Monday.

Racing Queensland have released the official field for the $2 million Restricted Listed Jeep Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m), which features sixteen starters plus five emergencies.
The fillies dominate this summer’s Magic Millions Classic field including locally-trained star Houtzen who is also the early $3.40 favourite in betting at Ladbrokes.com.au.
Toby Edmonds trains the daughter of I Am Invincible who put the writing on the wall at the track last Saturday with a tearaway all-the-way four and a half-length win over 1100m.
Houtzen will have no issues over the extra metres on the weekend and has Brisbane’s leading jockey Jeff Lloyd continuing associations on Magic Millions Race Day.
Edmonds could be dually represented in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic field this year if his first emergency, Tiara Star, gains a run.
She comes off a last start fifth on December 31 at Eagle Farm in the Group 3 B.J. McLachlan Stakes (1200m), the winner of which is one of the standouts for Saturday’s Magic Millions feature.
Ours To Keep continued his undefeated record with the BJ McLachlan win for former champion jockey turned trainer Chris Munce.
Munce rode three Magic Millions Classic winners during his years in the saddle and now chases his maiden success as a trainer.
His Seidnazar colt Ours To Keep is currently rated an $8.50 shot in Magic Millions Classic betting and has Damian Browne staying aboard for the fourth time on the weekend.
Munce has also accepted for his also undefeated Choisir filly Champ Elect who was last seen winning the Listed Calaway Gal Stakes (1100m) at Doomben on December 17.
She, like Ours To Keep, is yet to race at the Gold Coast and also won her debut in November at Doomben.
Browne sticks with the colt and Munce has Kerrin McEvoy replacing him aboard $21 shot Champ Elect on Saturday.
Occupying the second line of post-field Magic Millions 2YO Classic betting at $4 is the Chris Waller-trained From Within.
The Not A Single Doubt filly is out to make history as the first Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner to take out the race at just her second start after a winning debut at Canterbury on December 31.
Waller also saddles-up Madame Moustache in the race, the Hinchinbrook filly out to improve on her fifth to Madeenaty in the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic last time out.
From Within has Hugh Bowman riding while her stablemate will be ridden by Blake Shinn.
Also at single-figures in the Magic Millions Gold Coast Classic odds are Invincible Star ($7.50) for the race’s four-time winning trainer Gai Waterhouse and the aforementioned Wyong winner Madeenaty ($8.50) representing Lindsay Park.
