Due to jump at 2:00pm (AEST) as Rosehill Race 4 on the bumper Golden Pendant Day program, this season’s $100,000 Listed Reginald Allen Quality (1400m) originally drew a final field of 11 three-year-old fillies.

The early scratching of Legless Veuve (8) and Our Belisa (11) sees nine remaining chances including Cummings’ nicely-bred daughter of Smart Missile, Smart Amelia.

She sits top of the updated Reginald Allen Quality odds at Ladbrokes.com.au paying $4.50 for the win from a gun barrier two draw with Glyn Schofield booked for the ride.

He is the fourth hoop in as many runs to jump in the saddle of the maiden who came closest to winning when runner-up behind Honesty Prevails on debut at Rosehill in the Group 3 Widden Stakes (1100m) on January 30.

Her latest run was a first-up Randwick run on September 3 when only four lengths away fourth to the Chris Waller-trained Foxplay in the Group 2 Furious Stakes (1200m) run in the wet, which she can improve on here.

In an open Reginald Allen Quality betting market a further five fillies are under $10 for the win including the firming $5.50 second elect Invincibella prepared by Sydney’s leading trainer Waller.

The consistent daughter of I Am Invincible ran second three times on the trot over the winter including her half-length effort behind My Country at Eagle Farm on June 11 in the Listed Lancaster Stakes (1200m).

She resumed at Canterbury on September 7 and narrowly held off Missile Strike to win over 1200m, breaking her maiden status ahead of Saturday’s assignment where James McDonald rides her from gate four.

Occupying the third line of betting at $6.50 is Rosa Carolina for Newcastle’s Kris Lees, the Savabeel filly a winner by 2.5 lengths over 1100m at Gosford in late August.

Her latest run on September 7 at Canterbury was a very close second to Purrari when carrying 59.5kg, a weight she drops notably down from this Saturday with 56kg on her back.

Rosa Carolina’s last start conqueror Purrari is also in the mix for a rematch in the Reginald Allen Quality, the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained More Than Ready filly carrying the 58kg top weight.

She carted 60.5kg to victory last time out, is Group 3 performed and is still a livewire hope at $8 to string a couple together this weekend after the big all-the-way effort last time out.

Also in the mix around the same price are light weights Pecans ($8) and Bring Me The Bling ($9.50) both getting in on the 54kg minimum.

John O’Shea and Godolphin saddle-up Skilled filly Pecans in barrier three, McDonald replaced in the saddle by Jason Collett as she looks to improve on her fourth when under a length off Purrari last start.

Bring Me The Bling meanwhile is prepared by Team Hawkes and comes off a Wyong win from August 28.
