Super Saturday at Flemington Racecourse will see a full black-type race meeting that includes two impressive Group One races worth $1 million, one of which is the Australian Cup (2000m), running at 4:30pm (AEDT).

A near-capacity field of 16 runners will tackle the race, three of which are offering single figure odds in the Ladbrokes.com.au betting market.
Happy Trails has continued to see come in for him with his odds firming to $4.20 from his opening price of $5.
The Paul Beshara-trained gelding has been touted as a Flemington specialist since all three of his Group One wins have come at the track, so it’s not hard to see why punters would get behind him.
Happy Trails last won the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes over the track and distance of the race on November 1 and has had two starts this campaign, both of which were at Caulfield. The gelding ran sixth in the Group 1 CF Orr Stakes (1400m) first-up on February 14 followed by the Group 2 Peter Young Stakes (1800m) two weeks later, in which he ran second to Mourinho.
The seven-year-old will relish the return to Flemington, running over 2000 metres this afternoon, and will have a good start from barrier four with defending champion jockey Damien Oliver.
Rounding out the Australian Cup single figure odds are Kris Lees’ Protectionist ($5.50), who will aim to complete the Melbourne Cup-Australian Cup double but may find the trip too short, and Foreteller ($8.50), who has seen a big push in the market with his odds firming from $10. The Chris Waller-trained gelding won the Group 1 Underwood Stakes (1800m) in September but has failed to place in any of his five subsequent starts.
The only other runners who have seen their odds shorten are Tony McEvoy’s Big Memory ($51 into $41), who was a close third in the Listed Victoria Cup (2000m) on February 28, and Entirely Platinum ($31 into $26), who will enjoy the inside jump from barrier one.
Runners who have seen their prices drift in the 2015 Australian Cup betting include Red Cadeaux ($11 into $14), The Cleaner ($14 into $17), Puccini ($26 into $34), Spillway ($8 into $10), and Greatwood ($19 into $31).
Nine-year-old Red Cadeaux is making his first Australian start outside of the Melbourne Cup this afternoon but has never won over 2000 metres. A partnership with champion jockey Hugh Bowman could see him run well however.
Cult favourite The Cleaner has placed in five of his seven starts at Flemington and will enjoy the return to the track while New Zealand-based Puccini will get his first Australian start.
David Hayes & Tom Dabernig’s Spillway has been unlucky to finish just outside the placings in all four of his past starts, including the Peter Young Stakes, while Gai Waterhouse’s Greatwood could deliver a surprising win after his hard-fought win in the Listed Parramatta Cup (1900m) on February 21.
