This Saturday the final day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival will take place and one of the key races on the Flemington program will be the sprinters’ 2012 Patinack Farm Classic, form guide facts and betting stats for which are detailed below.

Sea Siren is clear favourite to win the 2012 Patinack Farm Classic this weekend
Due to run as Flemington Race 5 at 2:15pm (AEST) the $1 million Group 1 Patinack Farm Classic (1200m) has this year drawn a final field of 15 smart gallopers, the favourite of which is triple Group 1 champ Sea Siren who pays $3.60 after her first-up Manikato Stakes victory.
Her main dangers are then perceived to be Manikato runner-up Mental ($5.50) and last year’s Patinack second place-getter Buffering ($5.50).
They are the only three under $10 in the Patinack Farm Classic odds currently but could there be value in a double-figure outsider for a Black Caviar-less Patinack this year?
Having gone over the Patinack Farm Classic field, form guide and betting history below we’ve compiled the must know facts and stats on the sprint showdown to help you clean out the bookies this Melbourne Cup Carnival.
