While the action of the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival is beginning to wind down, the Perth Summer Racing Festival is just starting to heat up and this Saturday Ascot Racecourse will be home to the 2010 WA Guineas Day.
Featuring a bumper nine-race card, the highlight event at Ascot this Saturday will be the $250,000 Group 2 W.A. Guineas (1600m) for three-year-olds.
Two other Group status races will also light up the track with the $125,000 Group 3 Colonel Reeves Stakes (1100m) and the $125,000 Group 3 R.J. Peters Stakes (1500m).

The Ascot Summer Carnival runs right through until January 1, 2011 and features over 10 Group races including the highly anticipated Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m) on November 20.
