This Saturday Ascot Racecourse hosts the final day of the Festival Of Perth carnival. The headline race of the day is the coveted $500 000 Group 1 Kingston Town Classic (1800m), however many punters and spectators will also be attracted to the meeting’s other feature event, the $125 000 Group 3 Sir Ernest Lee Steere Classic (1400m).
A quality line-up of 13 horses are set to contest the 1400m sprint.
The Lee Steere Classic is scheduled as race eight on Ascot’s nine-event card this Saturday and is due to commence at 4:47pm (WA).
