The final field and barrier draw for this Saturday?s Group 2 TMB Printing Sandown Classic (2400m) has been announced, with defending champion for the last two years, Zipping, looking on track to completing a hat-trick with in-form hoop Michael Rodd aboard.
A ten horse field will contest the $350 000 feature including fourth placegetter in the Melbourne Cup Master O?Reilly (Barrier 5), Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes winner Scenic Shot (Barrier 1) and up-and-coming galloper, Mark Kavanagh?s Raffaello (Barrier 8).
Three quality mares are also set to take on the Classic challenge, five-year-old Zarita (Barrier 2), Miss Maren (Barrier 9) and the strong running Purple (Barrier 6) trained by Peter Snowden.
